Whilst walking along the beach at Robin Hood’s Bay in North Yorkshire, I was poking around amongst the numerous rock pools when I stumbled upon a stone with a hole in it. My first instinct was to look through the hole — and apparently, that is exactly what people have been doing for centuries.

These curious little objects have been steeped in folklore for generations. Depending on which story you believe, looking through a hagstone might offer a glimpse into another world, bring good luck or help ward off bad spirits.

Whichever way you look at it, there is something rather special about a stone shaped by water and time with a hole running straight through it. T.W.A.T Studio wanted to bring a little of that magic into your home.

I've found one

Naturally, T.W.A.T Studio decided this ancient object needed a little interference.

So what will your hagstone bring?

A little protection — perhaps from witches, or online trolls?

These curios have long been thought to bring luck, particularly among fishing communities, and have a deep tradition in coastal towns and villages. Protection for fishermen, homefolk and all who carried them.

Will yours be GROW WILD, ROAM, DARE, or MAKE A MESS?

Pick carefully. They have as much power as you believe.
